We're pleased to announce the winners of our rando

We're pleased to announce the winners of our random draw coming out of the Superstore Union Member Survey.This is the first of many surveys UFCW local 247 members can expect over the coming months. Over 6 weeks, we received nearly 900 responses from Superstore members, which is an excellent response for a survey of this kind.Superstore members can expect report on the results by email later this week. We'll include details on the survey's methodology and analysis of the results of each question.These surveys help us understand how people feel about things, and they help us make better decisions as a local. They also help us gather members' perspectives in our conversations with other locals dealing with similar issues.Rest assured, future surveys will include members working for other employers on other broader themes.

August 9 marks the International Day of the World’s Indigenous Peoples, where we bring attention to the rights of the estimated 475 million Indigenous peoples across 90 countries.Indigenous peoples speak an overwhelming majority of the world’s estimated 7,000 languages, representing 5,000 different cultures. These languages and cultures hold important knowledge about relating to the lands in which all people live.Despite the diversity of Indigenous Peoples globally, there are many common problems. We continue to call for the protection of the rights of Indigenous Peoples as critical to protecting all life.
