Toronto – January 5, 2022 – As the country faces another wave of pandemic restrictions to blunt the growing threat of COVID-19 variants, it is important for Canadians to get booster shots of approved vaccines to ease pressure on local health systems.

As part of the Faster Together coalition of civil society organizations, UFCW Canada encourages everyone who is eligible to book their first, second, or booster vaccine dose so we can overcome this pandemic and be #TogetherAgain.

Canadians have shown unrelenting resolve over the past two years, and it is more important than ever that we continue the fight against COVID-19 by accessing vaccines, which have been our strongest line of defense at this stage of the pandemic.
