There’s still time to apply for a UFCW Canada – BDM Scholarship, but the deadline is fast approaching. Applications must be submitted by September 30.

Each year, UFCW Canada awards 18 scholarships worth $1,000 each to active UFCW Canada members and their eligible family members pursuing full-time post-secondary studies in Canada.

If you are an active UFCW Canada member in good standing, you, your spouse, or your children may be eligible to apply. The student must be enrolled, or will be enrolled by September 30, and attending full-time studies at an accredited Canadian college, university, or other recognized post-secondary institution.

You don’t have to be an A+ student to apply. The scholarship is about supporting UFCW members and their families as they pursue their educational goals. The application is easy to complete online and only takes a few minutes.

To qualify, applicants must be an active UFCW Canada member in good standing, or the spouse or dependent of an active UFCW Canada member in good standing. Applicants must also be attending full-time post-secondary studies in Canada and cannot have previously received a UFCW Canada – BDM Scholarship.
