Food processing workers at Dare Foods join the union – UFCW 175 & 633

Cambridge, Ont. – February 3, 2022 – Workers at Dare Foods are the newest members to join UFCW 175 & 633 after concluding a successful organizing campaign that will see approximately 170 staff at the Cambridge, Ontario confectionary facility join the union.

“We applaud these members for making the choice to become part of our union,” says UFCW 175 President Shawn Haggerty. “Our local union prides itself in representing our members to the fullest and being the best labour advocates in the province.”

The new members work in production, maintenance, and sanitation at the Cambridge facility and organized to gain a voice in the workplace.
