Charlottetown, P.E.I. – March 18, 2024 – The latest recipient of the BDM Scholarship award goes to UFCW 864 member-dependent Tyler Dickieson, who is in his second year of a Bachelor of Science, Physics at University of Prince Edward Island.

“This scholarship will help me achieve my educational and career goals. I have been working hard to save for university,” says Dickieson. “This scholarship will help by lowering my costs of University so that I will be able to continue with my academic achievements and focus my time on my studies.”

The UFCW Canada – BDM Scholarship offers a total of $18,000 in scholarships to UFCW Canada members and their families and is one of more than 25 union scholarships available to members and their relatives every year, totaling more than $300,000 in support.
