Applications for our UFCW Local 247 scholarships and grants are now open!

We’re very pleased to announce that, this year, your UFCW Local 247 Executive Board has more than doubled the number of scholarships available exclusively to UFCW Local 247 members and their dependants.

Iorio Scholarships and Eddy Grants

UFCW Local 247 now awards:

• Up to 24 Iorio Scholarships of $1,500 each for full-time studies (open to members and their eligible dependants); and
• Up to 7 Eddy Education Grants of $750 each for part-time studies (open to members only).

Other UFCW Scholarships Available

Because of our affiliation with UFCW Canada and UFCW International, our national and international union bodies, UFCW Local 247 members also have access to other scholarships, including:

• UFCW Canada BDM Scholarship – $1,000 (Deadline Sept. 30 each year)
• UFCW International Scholarship – $12,000 (Deadline in May of each year)
