FOOD HANDLER CERTIFICATION COURSE (ON-LINE ONLY)

This certification course is available on-line and space is limited to Local 247 members only.

The Food Handler Certification Course developed by the Canadian Institute of Food Safety provides critical food safety training to food workers in all sectors of the Canadian food industry. It has been developed to meet all requirements for compliance with federal and provincial food safety laws.

It takes the average user about 6 hours to complete the course. You have up to 30 days to complete the course and take the final exam. If you wish, it is possible to proceed directly to the final exam at anytime.

A score of at least 70% on the final exam is necessary to pass the course and receive your certificate. Course material may be reviewed on any internet-connected device with a web browser. Only the final exam portion must be completed using a desktop or laptop with webcam and microphone enabled. Tablets and smartphones are not supported at this time. The final exam must be taken using either Chrome or Firefox web browsers. Be sure to use the most up-to-date versions of Chrome or Firefox.
