Today is International Overdose Awareness Day. We honour those who have lost their lives to overdose, and we stand in solidarity with the families and communities enduring grief.For 25 years, awareness days like these have been held. And unfortunately, they're still needed.Overdose is preventable, and the harm and risk associated with substance use can be greatly reduced. It's been great to see so many members participati

It's been great to see so many members participating in our Union Summer BBQs over the past few weeks. These events are about building union awareness among UFCW 247 members... and they're just fun!In addition to other BBQ events held last week, we had our biggest turnout at Marine Drive on Friday with over 160 members participating!Thanks to all the members who got involved and helped to organize these events. This week, we visit members on Vancouver Island!

🎓 Eddy Education Grants - $750 for 7 UFCW Local 247 members studying part-timeReview eligibility requirements and apply online by September 30.
