On January 4, we honour National Ribbon Skirt Day—a day that celebrates the strength, resilience, and cultural pride of Indigenous women, girls, and Two-Spirit people. Ribbon skirts are powerful expressions of identity, history, and resistance. We stand in solidarity with Indigenous UFCW 247 members as we recognize the significance of this day and affirm that Indigenous culture belongs in every space.
