Light the Night Walks raise over $100,000 for Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada (LLSC)

A message from the President of the LLSC

Thousands of supporters have stepped up to help raise $100,000 for the 100,000+ Canadians affected by blood cancers.

It is tremendously inspiring to see a light shining in every corner of Canada – from as far north as Conrad in the Yukon Territory to the southern tip of Ontario in Essex and from the west in Terrace, B.C. to St. John’s, Newfoundland in the east. The message to all those affected by a blood cancer is clear: you are not alone.
At the conclusion of our campaign, over $109,000 was raised. With the matched gift from iA Financial Group, the amount totals more than $209,000!
Thanks to donors like you, we will continue to commit to funding world-class research aimed at finding safer and more effective treatment options, and improve the overall quality of life of patients and their families.

It is a critical time in cancer research. We will see more breakthroughs in the next 20 years than we did in the last 100 years combined.
Thank you for making this progress possible.
Shelagh Tippet-Fagyas
President, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada
