The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada ( formerly the Leukemia Research Fund of Canada) was adopted as the charity of choice for UFCW Canada over 17 years ago. In that time, UFCW members have raised over $6,000,000 for the fund. Members all across Canada put on events such as walk-a-thons, barbeques,hockey, pool, and golf tournaments to raise funds for Leukemia. UFCW Local 247 has a new fundraising item for sale...Leukemia "Dog-Tags" There are two tags with the smaller one displaying the blood-drop logo and the larger tag has the society initials, the Local union number and the word- "relentless" along the bottom. When worn, the "relentless" wording will be displayed under the blood-drop . The chain is included and they sell for just $15. The tags are currently in production so pre-order yours now!

EVERY 5 MINUTES, someone is diagnosed with blood cancer - Leukemia, which causes more deaths than any other cancer among children and young adults; Lymphoma, the incidence of which increases dramatically with age; and Myeloma, with a five-year survival rate of only 32%.
Please help fund lifesaving cancer research and provide help and hope to patients and their families. These bands are Union Made by UFCW Local 175 members in Ontario and sell for only $2!!

We are also still selling the "Nomination Composable" Bracelet and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada (LLSC) Charm. The LLSC Charm & "Nomination Composable" (better know as the Italian Charm bracelet) is a fun new way to show your support for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada. When you purchase a bracelet and/or charm, $10 of every sale will be donated to the LLSC. Hundreds of charms can be purchased through various jewellers, and added to this bracelet.
